Another Trip, New Paintings

Spring arrives and I begin to travel again to catch beautiful plants native to Chile, but located different places in UK. This trip is based on different Berberis species around the gardens of Great Britain.

Firs aim was to paint Berberis valdiviana, so I have visited Nymans Garden, is located at south-west of London. I am really enjoying not only to meet with different plants around the world, but also visiting such gardens is really worth for all the way I am making. During my visit to Nymans Garden, I have stayed with Paulina Hechenleitner who is one of the other writer of the book.

But of course, this was a marathon for some Berberis species, so then I flied to Scotland to catch the flowering times of Berberis negeriana, Berberis rotundifolia.
