This course is designed to introduce the basic techniques useful in making botanical illustrations. The program of study will introduce to measured drawing from, living plant material at natural size; how to make the drawing life-like using light and shade; how to use watercolour washes and mix colours.

Dates: 29th – 30th of September, between 14:00-20:00 hrs and 1st of October, between 9:00-14:00 hrs
Location: German College, Puerto Varas
Price: (Chilean pesos) $80.000 (profesionals) y $ 60.000 (students). Price is including all the materials necessary

Program:
Day 1: Drawing of different types of leaves by using dividers
Day 2: Introduction to the 2- Brush Watercolour technique, observing different leaves, textures, form and volume, application of colour and developing colour mixing information to achieve different tones of greens.
Day 3: Drawing a flower at different angles, observing the details, angle of carpels and stamens, information about color mixing, improving depth on your paintings with the use of colour
