Beginner Classes, NGBB, Istanbul

This foundation course is aimed to show you the basic techniques of watercolour used in botanical illustrations. These classes teach students to accurately draw plants by observing basic botanical shapes and structures and illustrating them with botanical accuracy, focusing on developing your ability to; see shapes; judge angles; draw in proportion; represent form through tonal value; use light and shade to make your drawing life-like; use watercolour washes and mix colours. This course will help you to combine scientific accuracy with an aesthetic vision to create beautiful botanicals.

Workshop I

Dates: 29-30-31st of October, 5-6-7th of November
Time: 10.00 – 16.00
Tutor: Işık Güner
Location: Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanic Garden, Education Center, Istanbul
Price: 500 TL for one person. Price is including all the materials necessary and lunches at NGBB.
