Painting Plants: First breath into Botanical Illustration, Barcelona
This workshop is aimed to show you the basic techniques of watercolour used in botanical illustrations.
You will learn how to draw plants accurately by observing basic botanical shapes and structures and illustrating them with botanical accuracy, focusing on developing your ability to; see shapes; judge angles; draw in proportion; represent form through tonal value; use light and shade to make your drawing life-like; use watercolour washes and mix colours.
During this workshop plants and its parts, colors and textures will be examined in detail. You will find opportunity to work on different types of leaves, flowers and its fine details.
This workshop will help you to combine scientific accuracy with an aesthetic vision to create beautiful botanicals.

Info: Classes will be mostly in Spanish. Maximum number of students is 12. This course is suitable for anyone. There will be a coffee break during the course, you can have your coffee in the bar next to the studio.
