The seventh instalment of Passings — an annual exhibition series organised by the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture at Istanbul Okan University — opens under the title Forum at Evin Art Gallery on Thursday, 3 February.
The exhibition brings together a selection of works by Batu Bozoğlu, Eda Çekil, Merve Ertufan, Mürteza Fidan, N. Kurucu Koçanoğlu, Alper Mazman, Dilek Tina Winchester and Gizem Yücelen from Istanbul Okan University's Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, alongside Setenay Alpsoy, Ahmet Elhan, Kader Genç, Işık Güner, Hakan Gürsoytrak, Temür Köran, Emin Turan and Zulal from Evin Art Gallery.
The Passings series has, at various times, seen artists produce work together or respond to one another through their individual practices. This year, the series brings together independent works created through diverse methods and approaches, united by a shared reference to the concept of the Forum.
Passings VII / Forum, an exhibition that celebrates diversity and a plurality of voices, is on view at Evin Art Gallery until 26 February 2022.
