PAST AND THE PRESENT

In this gallery you will find a selection of works completed over the years for various projects or simply for pleasure. Some of these illustrations have been published in books and magazines, such as Curtis's Botanical Magazine, whilst others were individually commissioned and are now held in private collections. This mixed collection features plants from around the world, including both scientifically accurate illustrations and more artistic approaches, with paintings ranging widely in size — from 10 cm to 2.5 m. The original artworks in this collection are held in various private and public collections around the world.

The specimen was collected in Ayder Yaylası, Kaçkar Mountains and has been described as a new genus. The painting is published in the "Illustrated Flora of Turkey". Herbarium specimens are preserved in the herbarium of the Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanic Garden. It was later exhibited at my solo exhibition "Habitat" in Çamlıhemşin.
