RICE PAPER

More recently, I have been exploring painting on Chinese rice paper and Japanese washi paper. You will find some examples of these illustrations in this gallery. The original artworks in this collection are held in various private and public collections around the world.

At the time, I was quite curious to experiment with Japanese paper, so this was the first of its kind. It was later exhibited at "Rooted: The Garden Within" exhibition at Şule Gazioğlu Gallery in 2026. The original artwork is held in a private collection.
